Strange Rockets
We have a run in with cutting edge future technology as pictured in 1995 with Kathryn Bigelow's Strange Days which leaves us bloody, hungover, and nearly jacked into the big black. We spend a little time back in Hollywood's Golden Era with Joe Johnston's The Rocketeer and come to our senses before being completely seduced by Timothy Dalton...but it's pretty damn close. Also gender swapped future reboots, action movie blasphemy, and at least half of us have seen The Last Jedi.

Oh, Hi Frank!
This week RotP enter the twisted alien mind of... uh...um...eh... "auteur genius"... sure, why not... Tommy Wiseau and feel real feelings as Lisa tears us all apart. After that we climb out of Miami harbor to watch Thomas Jane, as Marvel Comic's one man crime murdering army Frank Castle, inflict a lot of revenge on John Travolta, as the man in a terrible wig who ordered his family killed. A fun time was not had by all. Each film inspired at least one rage rant and one general surrender to ennui. Join us, won't you?

The Man Who Fell to KHAAAAAAAAAAAAN
This week RotP bravely faces down an old, mostly forgotten in the haze of the impending middle age that surrounds 3/4 of them in the classic Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. After that goes spectacularly wrong, the clutch on to the brilliant star that was David Bowie in the equally classic The Man Who Fell to Earth.

Of Turkey and Meth
We go far and above to pay tribute to the 90s sci-fi camp "classic" Barb Wire with four other movies that connect to it in various ways. We Pledge This! at Gamma Gamma but even Paris Hilton can see our middle age through the make up. Fleeing the wrath of Paris, we shoot ourselves into space to watch Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie. An accident with the Hubble sends us crashing back down to Cook County. Finally we try to use what the meth heads taught us to kill our roommates for 4.0s to get ahead of The Curve. Can you figure out the connections before we tell you? Is there a better Casablanca remake than Barb Wire? Let us know in the comments, on Facebook, on Twitter, or on Instagram. You can also find all episodes of RotP on iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher.

El Haunted Descent of 31 Brass Lords
This week we learn that revenge isn't as fulfilling as we'd like no matter how ridiculous our plan from Descent (2007) and take a long hard look at news induced panic with our Brass Eye (1997 & 2001). Finally we run from 31 endlessly chattering clowns, tag team Doctor Satan's nefarious plan with The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, and play demon umbilical double dutch with The Lords of Salem.

This week we watch the Monkees struggle against the cultural views they found themselves trapped in as they faded out of popularity in Head, we get easy suck up jobs in Conner4Real's entourage and learn how to Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. After Tyler gets us fired for molesting the wrong staircase, he talks us into taking a detour to poke Rob Zombie's version of Michael Myers with sticks while he's still safely locked up. All For You: The Rob Zombie Special part 1
We watched all seven Rob Zombies movies and spent hours discussing them. Then we lost the whole damn recording. So this time we are taking a slightly different approach. We will be taking on two RZ movies a week for the next three weeks in addition to the normal episodes. This makes Tyler very happy... maybe a bit too happy... In part one we take a tour of the country with the Firefly family and see the 1970s exploitation sights never to be seen again (until next week anyway). Craig is turned into a Jackalope, Kevin gets chased by Hell's Power Ranger through a mine, Dave gets raped in a seedy motel and thrown in front of a semi, and Tyler changes his name to Prof. Quincy Adams Wagstaff.

RotP watch another vastly different group of films of varying objective quality. We kick things off by watching the legendary 2000s exploitation import A Serbian Film. We try to see a small correctional facility production of Macbeth, lit only by the ghost light, in A Haunting in Cawdor. We take a trip to Brazil and kick up the legendary cinematic bogeyman Coffin Joe in his debut At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul. Finally we complete the week by killing our parents and starting a cult in Chicago with Children of the Corn 3: Urban Harvest.

Forever Feed
This week we discuss the unfair depictions of shysters in Hong Kong and Australia's secret Internet morality police. How do we take Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, and Yuen Biao playing completely against type? How do we accept that Lieutenant Commander Steven J. "Steve" McGarrett, USNR is keeping woman who came to the tropical paradise for vacation and stuffing them with fast food? Not that we judge. I mean as long as they are all consenting adults, it's none of our business.

Alien of the Covenant
Hi. We are Raiders of the Podcast. We are a weekly podcast about movies. Sometimes new ones, often older ones, frequently bad ones. Soon we will be avalible on iTunes but right now Apple doesn't like us much. So until we get the shrine to Steve Jobs finished you can find us on Archive or our blogspot. We like cowboyhats, face hugs, strangely sexual atomaton interactions, and listeners like you. Episode 1- Alien of the Covenant.
