     Young David witnesses a flying saucer land in his backyard. When his father goes to investigate, he returns a changed man. Soon everyone around David begins to change drastically and only psychologist Dr. Pat Blake believes his shocking tale. Can Earth hope to stand any chance against an intergalactic threat?      Joe Marks, a psychotic arms dealer, and Nighthawk, his ambitious assistant manager, clean out a National Guard armory with plans to put military hardware in the hands of every gang in LA. James Long, LAPD lieutenant and man of little expression, goes undercover to bring their plans down. Is there anyone Marks won't remove to get what he wants? How loyal is Nighthawk?
