This week two films featuring goats in supporting roles of various importance.
In 1902 John, his wife Maida, and their infant son David are stranded on an uncharted island. Seven years later, the family are living an idyllic life, thanks to their expert abilities in farming, textiles, and carpentry, on a tropical paradise with few dangers excluding John's obsession with his hilariously bad takes on survivalism. A decade later, David becomes terrifyingly obsessed with having sex with his mother. A true passion project for director-producer-star George C Scott who self distributed it to avoid getting an R rating- The Savage is Loose.Uma, who never really fit in with her family, accepts an arranged marriage with Gopal, once a cherished childhood friend and now an emotionally distant alcoholic. After an incident at a family event, Uma gets ill but still walks four hours to her night job cleaning everyday. Alone and nearly dead with hunger and exhaustion, Uma accidentally finds what she needs to thrive. An unpredictable blend of genre bending Hindi-language indie film- Sister Midnight.
All that plus Craig and Dave are joined by Jose (aka Cupcake) from WatchSkip+. Join them, won't you?
